Information Note
During the last Bureau meeting ( 07 December), it was finally decided that the third round of negotiations would take place from 5 – 9 March, 2012.

In response to the decision, the CSM Working Group Chair on the Voluntary Guidelines, Sofia Monsalve, and the 4 CSO Advisory Group Members penned a letter to the CFS Chair, Yaya Olaniran requesting to extend the March sessions for 3 more days, in the fear that the time alloted would not be sufficient to finalise. Unfortunately, the letter did not have much impact.
To prepare as much as possible for the March sessions, the language harmonization group will hold the first round of electronic consultations on the terms to be included in the glossary between December 15 – 31.
